We are very proud of how we care for our patients and we like to shout about what we do here. 

This always comes across better if we are talking about real people rather than certain treatments.  Patricia has wanted to improve her smile for some time and came to Spires Dental for orthodontic treatment.

When Patricia came to see us we listened to what she wanted to achieve and we laid out a plan of how we should proceed.
From our point of view we wanted to:

1. Align the gums so the end result would look as good as possible.
2. Straighten the teeth to make the treatment as conservative as possible.
3. Improve the appearance of the front teeth using veneers. We rarely recommend this as a solution but given the number of fillings present we felt this was necessary.

The only way we could accomplish our goals was to align the teeth using Radiance clear brace system over 6 months and then to carry out the veneer treatment.

We weren’t sure if Patricia would be up for this but she has been great. She listened to the reasons why we wanted to proceed in such a manner and then allowed us to do the right thing.

Why did you choose Spires Dental clinic for your advanced dental treatment?

I was recommended by a friend and had been searching for someone local to ‘fix my smile’ which I had wanted to do all my adult life. I found myself able to do this financially and anxious to have the best I could find.

Why did you want to improve your smile?

I have wanted this for a long time – I have always thought that healthy, straight, white teeth are really important.

All our treatment is bespoke so how did you find having both brace and veneer treatment?

I was a bit concerned initially about having a brace at the age of 64 but it was very discreet and I found it easy to take care of. The first two weeks I had trouble with rubbing on the inside of my mouth, but after that it was no trouble at all. The veneer process was quick and painless and every effort was made to make sure I was 100% happy with the result.

What are your thoughts about your new smile?

I am delighted with my new smile and this has given me much more confidence in myself after a very difficult year.
