29 Oct Invisalign Brace Treatment – Options And Advantages
Your Guide To Invisalign Brace Treatment
Spires Dental Clinic have been straightening teeth in Lichfield for over a decade and along with highlighting the feature we thought it would be helpful to explain the different parts of our process and why the approach that Spires Dental Clinic use is right for you.
Treatment Planning (by someone who has been doing fixed braces for years).
We plan our Invisalign treatment in the same way we plan our fixed brace treatment. This means that we do not leave the treatment up to an anonymous company, we map out where your teeth will go, in what order and in a way that will deal with as many problems as possible.
We use fixed brace techniques, such as elastics and TADS to ensure that we are aiming to deliver the best results we can.
The Awesome Invisalign Brace Treatment
Invisalign braces are very discreet and comfortable, a bit of aching as your teeth start moving is all you get. You might need 20, or you might need 60, but once a week you change them and your teeth move closer and closer to our agreed end result.
Tooth whitening is a wonderful adjunct to straightening your teeth and we include it for FREE.
It takes about 6-8 weeks to whiten your teeth as far as they will go BUT it takes 10 years to fade back to their original colour.
Don’t worry! You can top it up yourself.
Nobody believes us BUT adding white filling to some of the teeth, or subtly smoothing away chips and rounding corners of teeth can make a huge difference to the end result. Sadly we never know exactly where we will need to contour so we include ALL minor contouring at no extra charge.
The world has changed and bonded retainers (you know- the bit of wire glued to the back of the teeth) are rarely recommended, we now give removable retainers which we recommend you wear every night. This not only stops your teeth from moving (teeth move through life!) but it protects them form any nocturnal clenching and grinding you might do.
Peace Of Mind
Invisalign are happy to provide you with new aligners for 5 years from when your treatment started. This means that we can straighten your teeth again if you accidentally lose your retainers and your teeth move.
