I qualified from the University of Bristol in 1998 and immediately began my career in general practice. For the past 14 years I have run my own practice in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Over the years I have trained with some of the finest dentists and specialists in the UK and Europe, learning more and more about all different aspects of dentistry. This has given me a holistic approach to dentistry as I am not wedded to one particular treatment modality and am able to offer our clients a wide range of options.
Although I consider myself to be competent in many areas of dentistry I have particular expertise in:
I have undertaken extensive postgraduate training in the field of dental implants: completing a year long course with the ITI (International Team for Implantology) in 2007 and spending two years with the Royal College of Surgeons studying for my Diploma in Implant dentistry. As well as many other minor courses I have also completed three, one-year postgraduate courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
My general ethos in dentistry is to help my clients achieve stable, healthy mouths which require the least amount of dentistry. The standard that I set is that all our work must mimic nature in terms of function and aesthetics.
The loves of my life include my family, dentistry and cricket. Probably in that order!
